Mercedes-Benz applied the brochure concept to all of the C-Class marketing
efforts in the US. The C-Class Sport became the brand’s best-seller, and MBUSA’s
German parents so embraced the successful mission that they distinguished the
two subseries even more dramatically with the next generation of the car.
