With no opportunity to develop the interface from scratch, the project quickly became
one of revising architecture within an already-approved design format, and then
developing an enormous amount of content in record time. For the commercial
customers and prospects, the industry leadership of DIRECTV in programming choices,
sports coverage and HD offerings led the way — with a “why buy” lead-in followed by
a “how to” follow-up. For the customer support section, the contents of an existing
“FAQ dump” covering all topics were cleaned up, then redistributed to put the answers
where users expect to find them. |
