After years of producing tiny, cheap auto show pieces with shouting headlines, the
Outlander pre-launch brochure stood out in a bag full of car brochures. With its
multiple paper sizes and bright red wire-spiral binding, it begged to be touched
and
read. Copy and design boldly told Outlander’s story without a hint of hard-sell.
Consumer
requests for more information jumped to new heights, and dealers could launch a new
model without resorting to deep discounts and rebates. Somewhere new indeed. |
